
About the Role
Our R&D Technician will be responsible for supporting the research and development of new medical device products and the associated processes and documentation. The candidate will operate in a quality managed system and follow design control practices. The early stage, high-growth, and rigorous nature of Renerva will offer a tremendous learning and growth opportunity for its team members. This position is full time following an initial evaluation period satisfying the position performance criteria.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical, physical, chemical, and biological testing of medical devices and biomaterials
Experimental testing and data generation
Maintenance of detailed laboratory records
Laboratory and clean room management, including orders, inventory, and maintenance
Inspections, calibrations, qualifications, and other quality management processes
Interaction with third parties providing external services
Qualifications
Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related technical fields
Experience in medical device, biopharma, or regenerative medicine product companies is a plus
Current U.S. employment authorization without future employer sponsorship
Strong interpersonal skills
Good verbal communication, record keeping, and technical documentation
Experience with laboratory environment
Ability to work independently and to interact with team
